True Lies 20. Grand Rising 21. CelibacyToxicity never sounded so good. This project is definitely for those who have had said toxic relationships. Each song is curated for different stages, moments and feelings felt throughout such a relationship. Something like Yvette & Jody in Baby Boy. Down to the title of each song, which perfectly compliments the theme of the project and the relatability of the album. Around track 5 to 8 most of those songs kinda blended together, but then it started to kick back up and had each song stand in their own. It’s a little bit too long. Which I don’t mind since it touches on a lot, which I appreciate, but take all the songs I gave a wave to and it would be a 10/10. Less is more. The production was top tier, the singing phenomenal and can’t get enough of the subject matter. And special shout out to the “Heal For Once” song. That shit is the one! I highly recommend this project. Especially track 3. Since my first listen for the review I been re-listening to that track over and over till this day!
