Project has allot of love and passion in it, might be a bit too much. Its smooth for sure, but sometimes tracks go on a bit too long. One thing I have to get off my chest is how it will always get to me when a rapper ranks himself top 5 and then hits you with regular bars. Dude said this is what you call bar work then followed with “This light of mine, im gon let it shine”, lets be real. Either way this is a good time, the production is very smooth and he has a solid cadence and flow. Not the most technical or bar heavy but he does put allot of real shit and love into it so it makes up for it. When matched up with his features it only makes the songs better regardless of if they lowkey cooked him. This really hits home when it takes that nostalgic, more lesson heavy, soulful vibe. The second half is allot of that and really makes you listen. Hes got all the tools to be great, just gotta cut back on any excess filler and fat, and work on the sonics and structure. In rotation.
