Project has some of the most stereo banging beats ive heard all year. Project is solid, these 2 dudes just came here to rap about shit that they like. Its allot of wordplay, aggro thuggery but with clean pronunciation, so im just gonna call it suburban thuggery. For the most part they got solid contrast and chemistry but sometimes small inconsistencies overall throw things off. Dude with the smoother delivery who I am going to assume is dude with Locs because you don’t get locs unless you got some sauce to your existence, consistently slid on this, his pocket was dope everytime. The other dude who had a more aggressive angry delivery had some dope moments but he also did allot of unpracticed things like rushing his delivery, and word salad’ing a bit. When everything else around you is so clean on top of your delivery demanding that much attention, its makes those smalls things stand out big time. When he was in his boom bap controlled flow tho he went off. Not bad overall tho, this a duo that has the confidence and the sound, so its a matter of them fixing the small things and the sky is limit from there, especially if this producer is part of the team.
