This like seeing that old head legend at LA Fitness multiple times in one week, you know hes there to just get his reps in, regardless of how everyone else is playing. This analogy runs deep because even if you catch him busting out a tik tok crossover he saw on his kids phone, hes still gonna go back and do work using his game. Its good music, the production is dope, and most importantly fits Nas’s style comfortably. Its got enough bop to make speakers go crazy, and enough open space for the MC to just let his pen speak. Pacing is solid, the content is what you expect, like listening to a successful hood dad flex while he mans the grill, just in poetic fashion. At this point you either rock with it or find reasons to hate on it, but at the end of the day even the haters have to reach to say its bad. In rotation.
