There is an epidemic in rap of single syllable rhyming couplets, we need to vaccinate the Young with multisyllabics. This Album has
14 tracks and one hot song, I’m glad it was towards the end cause I was already pissed off so it was a pleasant interjection of wavy melodic rapping with a catchy hook. Mix on the project is all over the place. I’m gonna coin the phrase Stumble Rap for this type of trap. Consistent trap beats throughout, but the Young Shiners astonishingly managed to not invoke a triplet trap flow one time, which allows their bars to not quite fit on the rhythm most of the time. Not really any quatables on the project, just boring gun talk for the most part, and straight forward stories. Unless you live down the street in Kentucky, you probably gonna want to skip this one, cause you just don’t care.
