Damn, Murs from Living Legends got a little more street. Nah, but Notes82 has that smooth storytelling delivery. Which is to say, when he’s talking his shit, it doesn’t really hit. The lack of solid punchlines is more than made up for with vivid imagery over cinematic beats. Lots of chimes and dissolves. Favorite bar? “Feeling like aladdin though, floating over chatty folks.” This was a solid 7 track ep, very enjoyable listen and you can tell Notes82 is comfortable in the booth as well as with his pen. If you’re looking for them stank face bars, you won’t find em here, but the content is rooted in the real world, which makes this a good listen for anyone.
