A collection of meditative soundscapes and earnest introspection. That’s the Apple Music description of this album. It’s pretty accurate. This is protest music from someone that isn’t part of the movement. The smart kid in a crew probably bumping this in his headphones when he gets out of the stolen car his boys are whipping around. This is an optimistic project riddled with themes of self sufficiency, hard work, and love. This one is worth the listen all the way through but you may not find yourself coming back to it. Maxo pulling up with the hard learned life lessons of chasing a dream and coming to realize some things are just out of your control. No Bangers on this joint but overall it’s crafted as a whole and should be listened to that way.
