RIP Phife. This project is dope. You have a masterclass of development here. You can hear that this was structured with love, and not just layered on some Pop Smoke or Lil Peep milking run type shit. The atmosphere of this is lovely, you have allot of just uplifting melodies, lots of piano and such surrounding some very crisp boom bap and hip hop. This has hints of tribe, some of that old kanye era, and more. The features all showed up to pay homage and did not slack at all. The pacing is dope, feels like an old school hip hop album with that new cleanliness to it. I think as far as putting out a dope project that not only lays this mans music to rest, but also sounds like he highkey put it out today, they accomplished allot. This will put anyone in a good mood and make you call ya loved ones or shoot them a text. In rotation.
