Project is an entire mood. Like if you wanted to put on some music to slow clean and sing too while also being sad but also increasing your intelligence on reality. You got someone who clearly can rap diving into melancholy but beautiful sounds, tones, cadences and more. Sonically its undeniable, I don’t know any of the lyrics by heart but I was tryna sing with him. The pacing, the content, the structure, and the variety in production is more than enough to keep you invested but also get multiple streams from you. I honestly couldn’t put this in a box or even think of a demographic this was made for and thats a big win. He highkey like a backpacking Lin-Manuel Miranda, if you don’t believe me tell me track 9 ain’t a Hamilton cut. Project is refreshing, its beautiful, its experimental and in rotation for sure.
