The longer you listen the more uninteresting this album becomes. Billy starts off strong and shows promise for her sophomore effort. Than it just burns apart. It’s a real slow burn to get through and at 16 songs it seems like its 32. She sets a clear ambience and then never really does anything else. There’s no experimentation no stepping out of her melancholy box. This is clearly for depressed individuals who have weirdly positive outlooks. I’m not entertained.
