I’m not even trying to hate, but Kevin Gates has always reminded me of a non-lyrical Young Buck. I wasn’t feeling this project. The delivery wasn’t bad, but lyrically it wasn’t on point, the inclusion of auto tune wasn’t necessary on his verses. It just made them annoying because his voice over powers every beat. That wouldn’t be bad if he didn’t put auto tune on it too. The beats weren’t anything special either. Maybe others will enjoy it, but it wasn’t for me.
