This had an old school west coast vibe and for the most part it worked. Where it didn’t was the hooks. The hooks were just bad and devalued songs where it would’ve been great but just made it ok or good at best. The pacing for the most part is solid and the production is clean. Dude didn’t have to put so many words into each bar but I respect the wokeness of his content. The hooks just undid anything he was aiming for and the features kinda showed him up. If he could get those hooks up I’m down to try him out again.
