First of all….I never heard of Aesop Rock before so letβs just say Iβm impressed. The good is really good I mean you have bars on top of bars with a unique cadence and an old school soul. The bad? The album is over long. 21 tracks is an earful and although the bars were excellent the hooks were subpar and the his voice wasnβt very clean on certain records. Maybe the effect he was using idk but I didnβt like it. All in all boy can spit! Cut this down to like 12 joints and this would be a cult classic.
8/10 – LP
