Lil Boat 3 – Lil Yachty

Project is very up and down. It starts off super slow catches steam then fizzles out with some sprinkles here and there. Yachty shows growth with lyrics but the beats he’s on is questionable. The hardest beats on the album are his best songs. It also doesn’t help that majority of the features made the songs better. (How you let other rappers make your song theirs?!) Although the album has 19 songs the songs themselves aren’t too long. The replay value only comes from the songs with features. This album left me optimistic about yachty as an artist but this album just didn’t hit.
