This is a solid tape for sure but it’s got a dusty musty feel to it like it was sold to me out of a trunk. Not that it’s a bad thing but highkey I feel like all those social media posts about Game’s finances being shaky are being proven right via allot of the quality he’s been dropping. Even for a DJ Drama tape, which is usually highest quality, this felt mid bar. Outside of that tho it’s still a good time, it gives it a nostalgia, and made me realize he hasn’t been active enough in this era where gangster rap is coming full circle. You get all his gossip, punchlines, name drops and just him doing slight damage control to things said about him. Solid pacing, though it could have been shorter, fun production, bunch of features that made this feel like he was holding on to this for a while. It’s solid but we miss that real Album game. Throw this on to see what he’s up to tho and that he still got it. In rotation.
