I didn’t even know he was out, so good for him, I had to google it because I was expecting a typical im locked up batch of throwaways to keep the court payments flowing. This project is still lowkey that energy tho, its a bunch of throwaways. Like a full album made of album filler. He could drop a 3-4 song ep every month to spread this out and it would probably hit harder. Its just very generic, from the mud, sad singy rich flex, aggro thuggery stuff that we have heard and will forever hear until label machines decide it is not the sound they want to push anymore. He has moments where he flows and it does sound personal but then it almost garaunteed immediately will flip on you and go down that path of industry words and what not. Pacing is boring, nothing spreads it out, its just the same track over and over again sometimes having flair or sometimes just being ok. Nothing to raise the bar, but nothing to fall under it either. The flair came in a few features or if the subject matter or beat tried something different. Outside of that its regular. In rotation if this is your jam or you want some background music that no one will ask who it is or even know exactly.
