As grounded and as simple hip hop this was, it was a whole breathe of fresh air. He was not trying to bedazzle, flash or flare us to death. He was just tryna rap over some smoothly digestible beats. This was loaded with intelligence, enlightenment, and self awareness. He was talking nice, talking truth, and honestly really working the shit out of his cool calm cadence and never needing to switch things up outside of the raps and flows. The vibe and pacing of this is smooth, it’s got so much heart, and soul to it that you just cant deny it. The features were dope, the production was dope, the subject matter down to his roots was dope. This is a great project and honestly it felt light as far as the energy he was giving off. In rotation.
