You just know out the gate this is about as hip hop as it gets, like underground Tim Duncan. This is like a reprint of the textbook of hip hop, so rightfully so its on bandcamp. He does it all on here too, produces a bit, hes hooking if it’s not dope scratches, hes rapping his ass off, giving full verses, short verses, food and medicine. What I rocked with was he has a dope rap voice and does not need to do much else to get out what hes getting out. No wacky inflections, no stretching words, no choppa chopping and such just rap raps. If it aint broke don’t fix it. It was relatable, he told stories, it had game, it was honest, and honestly mixed well without sacrificing his rap presence on the tracks. Throw this on for something that feels new but timeless and gets the job done at any level. In rotation.
