Glory Days by Showrocka f. Showly
This got a very open but powerful feel to the production that draws you into the words. Showrocka comes in talking real shit but punching effortlessly, just weaving from relevant street shit, small hood stories, and haymakers. The break in between was dope and honestly could have been used as a hook at the end too, it had a nice bit of variety in itself from singing to effects to the real tone cooking up the washed up. Showly got a big presence to his voice but that struggle strain too. A very stop and go flow that really gets the lines across and lets the beat breathe. The switchups in the flow are slightly math and gives it a nice mix that lyricists will appreciate. Hes talking nice too telling a dope story and ending it very strong with the theme of the track. Track goes hard. This a dope single but would be an even doper album cut in the right spot.
