This would probably rank a point higher if I could understand what was being said. I know mumble rap has become a slur in the rap community but this is really that. I really gotta lock in to catch a few words. The words I caught were typical industry words so I feel like I wasted brain cells. So turning my brain to a more understanding side towards the youth I figured lets just talk on the sonics and such. This was hit or miss for me, when its extreme, or sharp or just flutter fairy noises, I hated it, over using effects is shit. When it was more balanced I can hear something unique and kinda understand the vision. It was just too few and far between. Pacing was meh, nothing made sense, feels like a high quality sloppy joe, its still just allot of stuff slapped together and gets messier the more time you spend with it. Features were mostly fun, adding contrast to break the noise and weird stuff sonically. It’s not the worst, but it’s not something that should be hyped amongst the mainstream either. I wouldn’t run this back ever but will give Travis Scott his credit, he was the best parts of this project.
