This right here is having fun with hip hop, not that bullshit the young kids claim when they just don’t like to admit that they are trash and have no music experience or background. Confidence really went in on this and honestly no pun intended put together a library of sound. Each beat really feels like it was specifically put together with a very specific hip hop era feel to it. M-Dot slides on everything he was given and honestly keeps that energy of just doing hip hop shit on here, telling stories, dropping gems but mainly keeping the subject matter around the realm of hip hip hop from cooking up lazy wack rappers, to making sure you know he gets after it daily. The pacing is honestly fantastic and really takes you for a ride. Features were solid and added the right contrast to bring the thoughts they were included on alive. You can grab pieces of this and throw it on any of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remakes and folks won’t even realize its new music, they won’t even question it, it will blend right in and keep up. Throw this on and enjoy hip hop. In rotation.
