Elder heads rapping like they have absolutely nothing to prove. This is that full circle era. The Mainstream is at it worse so our heroes and legends seem to be fighting the good fight, and doing a good job at that. This project is a good ass time, he honestly took his style, cadence and flow, and just put his fucking foot on the gas rather than try new shit. The production, same energy, just upped all the jazz and all the nostalgia. Everything don’t gotta appeal to these dumb ass kids. The pacing is dope, it’s got mad replay value, the content honestly was a bit more awake than I thought it would be, while also just having some hip hop flex, but more along the lines of his career. The features all snapped, and brought me back except for Saweetie but she did her thing and I understand why she was thrown in the mix. This was a complete album, but also felt like the love, the effort, and really wanting to put out dope music was there. He did just that. In rotation.
