What do you call an industry plant that was planted by the hood in Pasadena instead? You can’t help but hear all the unpracticed, recently started rapping isms on this, especially when it’s over Hit-Boy and Alchemist production. The production on this is so dope and you just can’t help but think this dude could not give them justice. He was trying but the aggro, backyard freestyle flow was throwing me off. The content has moments where hes tryna get in a more socially aware and deep bag but overall he holds on to that “i will kill niggas” bag for dear life. He does do better on the more open, evil sounding, and somewhat drumless beats tho, which makes sense. Features were needed honestly, they added a nice contrast that kinda put him in the middle of the crowd. Overall this is super mid unfortunately.
