This is the send off he truly deserved. I will admit as a long time fan, hearing familiar lines and new ones really made this for me. Felt like I just put on an old tape but with new features. The skits, the history, the features absolutely showing up, this worked for me, all I needed was Cam’ron on it or more Children of the corn. The beats all made sense and didn’t try to new age this, the mix kept that vintage feel too, it really was hitting. This had those ups and downs that I would’ve expected on a true sophmore release. Pacing is dope, and honestly its shorter than it looks, and feels more complete than you would expect. I can truly say that to me this is better than the Big Picture, and if you think thats a hot take, I get it. Its wild that these tapes being as old as they are and you can still here how much he influenced some of your favorite rappers, from the golden era. Throw this on and keep one of the best to ever do it around. In rotation.
