This is something very unique that honestly I wouldn’t be mad at more of. Showcasing producers, in a cypher damn near faceoff to see what they do with flipping a worldwide classic. I was sold, they all brought something completely unique and different to this classic Whitney banger. This felt like a whole event, production visually and just how it was run. All I needed was for this to be in front of hundreds just so I could really fall into the energy of how masses would react to these dope flips. First dude was the weakest link but lowkey even tho it sounded like something Swizz Beatz would drop and overreact vigorously too just to keep the energy up, it makes sense and in that Rough Ryder era would have done numbers. Second beat was smooth something Lupe Fiasco would put to rest. 3rd had a very end of the NY anthem feel like when Troy Ave hit the scene but like after Shmurda changed it a bit. 4th was a banger until the second half with all that singing, the gall and audacity to have some new wave autotune reenactment of this classic, and the last one went crazy had a very black rave feel to it that all peoples could get on board with. Very dope.
