I was wondering the whole time, do people hunt for music, and look up artists that catch their ear anymore? this has the energy of something made to spark that urge back in the day. This is what a DJ tape should sound like, grounded in this hip hop culture. From the ensemble of underground, to midrange talent, the fucking dope scratches, the pacing, and all this one hit. Every beat on this highkey went crazy, like this album alone could fuel entire sports games. The guests on this came to showcase exactly what they do and that is rap. You can’t go wrong when you lay down quality and let quality players speak free. This would’ve been sold out of a trunk back in the day, with mainstream rappers pictures on the cover that weren’t even on the project. It’s just banger after banger, for you to get exhausted to, or just throw on while you do shit that makes you feel dope. Either way it’s gonna make you come back to it. Throw this on if you like dope shit. In rotation.
