If this isn’t the blueprint on how to drop an EP then I don’t want it. This is 5 depth filled, bop filled, extremely fire tracks from a Legend. They do not shy on the production, the switch ups, the subject matter, or even sauce. It does it all and is very much so showing you not to be afraid to do your thing and keep things original but also rooted in the culture. If any message in this game needs to be loud and clear it should be this. The features added nice layers to this, and it all works. It feels like an album honestly as far as how complete and full it is but it being 5 songs that dance around the 4 minute mark gives it that EP feel with infinite replay value. Throw this on and understand why people get so passionate and upset about how hip hop is portrayed in the mainstream or this era in general. I wish all my heroes outside of him would dish out just one of these 5 pieces for good measure. In rotation.
