He got a Kanye era Consequence type vibe to him like he sounds young but doesnt at the same time. I really liked the whole theme, the black experience, the positivity and just inspirational feel to this one as a whole. Its motivating especially being apart of the community it focuses on. The production on this is smooth and has moments of dipping into the more disco sampling feel era to really trigger nostalgia and such. One issue with it is, its long and after a while it feels more like he was attempting to learn and get better at a sound than like really bringing it forward or letting it shine. Again its not bad but allot of it started to feel repetitive and outstayed its welcome. It made the second half of this drag and really feel like he was forcing it. It’s still a full and complete project, just could have used some slight trimming, a few more rap features and a rework to keep the pacing. Throw this on if you need something light.
