This one of those things where they say it’s just a sample but hit you with a whole theme that includes heart, soul and ankles. One thing im learning about this dude is he can make one hell of an intro track, that shit sets the tone and draws you in. He can also take that same emotional energy and turn it into something fun, or even something toxic. This has all of that. The pacing is here, the theme is here, the story and relatability. This is a good time and feels like a full but short album with lots of replay value. Its like if you trimmed the fat off a label release but still include at least one of the radio tracks that artists usually need. His flows, cadences, lingo and even singing all weave and bend well to just make the music dope. Hes the truth. In rotation.
