This is like a South African DJ Drama tape but without all that extra shit Drama does on the tracks to give it sauce or completely disturb your listening experience. Project is solid when its more Drake type sounding or slower more rap heavy forward. It loses itself when it dives down that Carti, noisey just tryna sound cool stuff. It makes sense, appeal to the kids and the not kids anymore because that is the mainstream. They do the sound right and honestly better than the originators at times. Its just a very clear market and message that I cannot rock with completely. The pacing suffers for that mixup and it makes me wish that this wasn’t different types of projects shuffled together. The quality is dope tho and the beats go hard. Its just depending on the feature you kinda know what to expect. In rotation tho shout out to getting artists together especially to represent an area.
