This like the soulfood of hood raps. This has all that scheming criminal shit that we rock with but at a very real root for the once bad guy type energy to it. You feel like he is just a product of his environment and nothing else. He rocks with his hood, and other hoods, and really showcases that love in ways that felt nostalgic, golden era heavy and just unique at the same time. The beats knock, outside of track 7, it had the spiciest lyrics but the worst beat. The pacing is solid, tracks aren’t too long and the quality really fits that gritty street glory type energy. He rapping his ass off, dope voice, slick lines, dope cadence and really creating imagery of what’s around him. That Projects track is lowkey an anthem, and before we know it, they might turn into those fancy expensive apartment complexes. Throw this on if you tryna make it out or if you made it out to enjoy or get inspired. In rotation.
