This is one of the least scrambled ideas he has put together in a while. Outside of some creative choices and playing with sonics, there is allot of him kinda crying out on this as far as what I was interpreting. When hes just swagging and spitting random bars he does this better than most and can stand toe to toe with the mainstream kings of these shenanigans while making it seem less of that bullshit. When hes talking his real shit with clarity, then breaking from the seriousness with a wild punchline or something to deflect, this is where the gold is and where it honestly hits hard. Features all showed up too, they was rap rapping and contrasting nice. The production is everywhere but also very controlled at the same time and can actually be chalked up to genius as opposed to dudes stringing together some lazy stuff and hoping for the best. The pacing is solid. It makes you wonder, if you take the mainstream wow and shock from him and he really puts into a project without the radio jam and all the mainstream bells and whistles, could he shift music again? Not sure but this project really sets a tone. In rotation.
