The production budget on this as a whole definitely sounds like its up there. This has very in depth production, with switchups galore, lots of variety, the sonics are solid, the effects, mixing and everything just sounds truly professional. The pacing is solid, the subject matter is here and it’s very clear that she is venting while also trying to process good, bad and ugly in her life. The features were solid and added very good contrast, my issues on this came from how she contrasted on all of this. She has a very exaggerated, almost animated hip hop cadence and delivery. Sometimes she rushes her flows, her singing tho sometimes hit, also had moments of sounding like engineering couldn’t save it. She never broke the hip hopper image regardless of the subject matter and rather than sell the songs to you, she sometimes felt out of place, or cringy, and I found myself going in and out as far as being immersed. She’s got everything going for her, she just needs to be allot more versatile, and honestly find her voices to match the quality of everything else on here. Worth a spin but you will hear that the passion and love is here but this needed some risks and for her to just be a bit more genuine delivery wise.
