When whiteboys who used to make black music start leaning more on they white side, this that sadboy shit I can quietly get down with. I wasn’t mad at this project at all, felt like when artists understand they’re voice and what sounds good with it for the most part and wanted to put something out that fits them, breathes at the underground and waves at the mainstream. He rapping his ass off on this, he don’t punch heavy but he weaves thru personal shit, some forced flash, into that depression shit smoothly so you lowkey always feel like hes in pain. Pacing was ok but starts to lose itself towards the end. The production was super dope, trap drums are a cheat code because you can put anything over them and it will give that genre bending feel. This solid quality and tier sadboy stuff for sure, just need him to go even whiter, and stay away from the bubble gum autotune trash that found its way on here shortly. In rotation.
