Dude lowkey soundlike a south african Kendrick Lamar fan. Project is solid, honestly the production is super low energy but very dope. This almost simple sounding production makes room for the artist to really get busy and that’s the gift and curse of this project. He’s not bad but when it gets too open, you start to here his lack of variety and his accent. The features for the most part save this and add dope contrast, but if he wants to go up another level he’s going to have to work on saucing up that accent or even playing with different cadences and flows. The hooks are solid, mix is solid, pacing consistent and for 13 tracks its type short. The songs barely hit the 3 minute mark. Throw this on if you are looking for something chill and different. In rotation.
Project: 7.3/10 || Art: 7/10 – John D.
