This that underground woke rap. This the kind of project that is trying to relay a message. Now sonically, it’s a competent album for the most part. The delivery is good, the production is pretty good especially on track 7 and 12. But for the most part, it wasn’t an album that resonated with me. I comment them for trying to enlighten its listeners, but it comes off try hard for a lack of a better term. A lot of word salad to incorporate as many things in a song as possible and sometimes the delivery was intense & it beating you over the head with shit that I was like “STOP YELLING AT ME!”. A lot of the features didn’t help elevate the album and mostly brought the songs they were on down. And the skits were probably the worst trying about the album. You could have taken almost all of them out except the intro and maybe the outro and it might have helped the pacing of the album. Overall, it wasn’t a bad album, but it definitely wasn’t my cup of tea. This might resonate with a different demographic. One that’s into conspiracy theories, spirituality and those that try to speak the truth man.
