Where are we ranking G-Eazy amongst emcees and more specifically white emcees? He has to go up there as one of the most well rounded. He can do it all and its clear on here, I maybe not be the biggest fan of his flashy stuff but I cant honestly say its bad on here. He got a dope voice, can rap rap when he wants but also has been in a nice sadboy melodic bag that he honestly shines with. Features were solid on this and added dope contrast but I would have loved to hear more rap rappers on here. The pacing is dope, the story is solid, the feeling behind this is solid and honestly his attempts at some genre bending slightly were successful. He knows rap and pop very well even if it isn’t being led by a strong female voice as far as hooks. Project is solid, there are moments where you feel like small things are missing to really raise the bar on tracks but either way that doesn’t stop it from being dope. In rotation.
