This for older cats who need a little push to try new things. EP is super solid, you can hear he wanted to try new things and honestly he nailed it. The production has a unique variety but still keeps it very hip hop. The subject matter is his thing and he bounces around real deep shit to some fuck you shit and party shit quick. When he gets into himself tho that’s where the real gold is. The risks on here payed off, I was liking the singing hooks and such, highkey didn’t expect them to hit as hard as they did considering the type of hip hop on this, and homegirl vibing on this did her thing. If I had to nitpick there was some moments where his pocket would fall off slightly or there would be an awkward pause or 2 that would break up some bars but wouldn’t take too much away from the content and punchlines. Outside of that its fun hip hop and might get a couple spins out of you especially tracks 3 and 4. In rotation.
