This project had its goal and purpose in the title and it does not miss. This is that smooth slick talking nostalgic 90’s hip hop shit that will put you in a time machine from start to finish. Every beat on this is special. Theres a beautiful art to simplicity and clarity, and this project showcases that this sound is not easy. Hes got a super dope voice, that old school flow to really take this production to that level of honestly timeless, like if this doesn’t make you think of Gang Starr, Organized Konfusion or even some Boogie Down Production shit then you wasn’t there or didn’t experience that. This whole project sounds like cuts from them old extreme sports games like Tony Hawk, Thrasher or even Dave Mirra’s BMX. The features added some dope contrast and the pacing was solid too. This is just a student of the game putting out something he wants for the culture he loves. To do this justice, throw this on a boombox big enough to sit on outside at a local park. In rotation.
