Rainy day rap. The boy can rhyme his ass off, and the mellow production with damp undertones give RO$$AY a perfect puddle to splash his raps in. I picked up an aroma of Fabolous with less swag and more purpose. The mix of a generally aggressive delivery over chamber music type beats really allow the messages laced into the project take the forefront. A masterful control of cadence and rhythm makes this perfect background music. That’s not a bad thing, it could always be on and never be abrasive. This one is nothing but net.
