The production on this is very dope its like a dreamy twist on mainstream sounds, like trap, pop, some 90’s type stuff, 2000’s stuff and sadboy shit with sci fi tones and energy. Thats about all the good that can be said about this. Dude rapping on heres got that confident toddler that constantly screams “look what I can do” energy. His features lowkey in that same bag but slightly more advanced in their mechanics. The mix on the vocals is rough, and too much. Dudes rapping is very unpracticed, overconfident, extremely weak as far as punchlines and the subject matter is mostly garbage that we’ve heard before and done way better. The singing manages to be worse than the rapping. Its a shame because a tighter pocket, and cleaner mix would’ve easily let wack raps pass on these extremely dope and refreshing beats. If this sound gets figured out tho it will be something worth hearing. Till then, throw this out.
