A million punchlines, with no set ups. If you swing that many fists you’re bound to connect a few times. Bro discovered similes and went ham. Jposey has a lot to say but needs to work on the robotic flow and inflectionless delivery. Whole project is a little sleepy and beats sound hollow. Vocals are just placed on top instead of inside the instrumentals. The songs where he was storytelling are a vibe, but the slick talk tracks aint it. Too much filler. I did appreciate how minimal the hoe and drug talk was, but them gun bars don’t really give the impression you letting em off. I literally fell asleep during track 9. The rare glimpse of ultra clever writing lets me know that Jposey just needs to take his time and stop settling for that next line just because it rhymes. Skip most of this project.
