From fuck boys to father figures, this project really has a bit of everything. Y’all know I’m not down with that bitches, money, jewelry rap, but even when Price slides into these overused tropes he manages to keep in interesting with bouncy cadence and intricate rhymes. Album has an eclectic mix of tempos in the songs, which is cool, if not making it a little less cohesive. The features, which almost every song has one, are hit and miss. It seems as when Price is on his Trap flow, his skill falls off, but he plays chess over the boom bap beats. The content is heavy on the big spender braggadocio but he peppers in some nice lessons and good stories. For me, I’m pulling a few gems from this and tossing the rest, but them 909’ers are gonna love it.
