Kanye is unginged and clearly hurt. From labeling his relationship with his new wife as a trauma bond, to him calling Kim Kardashian his foster mom. The production has this energy too randomly from electric rock, to gospel angelics, to dragging in classic hip hop samples, so sample samples, into tracks that you would never have thought they would be spliced, they arent bad, but do have the feeling of it kinda being done to force a line or subject. Then you have his delivery ranging from a churchboy on Sundays to a churchboy every other day of the week, maybe even in private school. This all comes down to which Kanye prefer. When its childish and going for the headlines it can be a bit corny and annoying, when hes venting and getting his soul on its dope. Then you have Ty Dolla $ign just here for the ride, a glorified feature, just doing what he does adding a nice break to all the fuckery alongside the actual features. This has moments, broken pacing, but hints of great and fresh. Its just also a mess.
