You ever see those commercials at the beach, minimal sound, all visual, with a main girl at first solo then her meeting with friends when it gets darker, this is the Sundance Film Festival version of that commercial, where you get everyones story. Its hard to place why but somewhere along the structure, lyrics, sonics, instruments and his array of styles this just makes you feel like you are outside on a perfect summer day reflecting whatever emotion is in your forefront at the moment. Its got allot of variety, intoxicatingly catchy hooks, very slick lyrics that show his age but also his perspective on things. Its a good time in honestly anyway you wanna look at it. If you tryna just reminisce, reflect or even regret, this will bring you there on a cloud of sonics. Dudes talented and not only in a he can do what others do type way, more so in a no one is making music this freely anymore type of way. In rotation.
